2024 Junior Rep trials
REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Marrickville Spirit is pleased to announce trials for the upcoming 2024 BNSW Waratah Metro Junior League Representative season.

We will be selecting teams for Under 12, 14 & 16 Girls and Under 12, 14, 16 & 18 Boys.

All trials will be held at PCYC Marrickville – 531 Illawarra Rd, Marrickville. Trials will cost $50 per athlete.

Trial times will be as follow:

TRIAL 1 = Monday 30th Oct 4:00-5:00pm

TRIAL 2 = Monday 6th Nov 4:00-5:00pm

TRIAL 3 = Monday 13th Nov 4:00-5:00pm

TRIAL 1 = Monday 30th Oct 5:00-6:15pm

TRIAL 2 = Monday 6th Nov 5:00-6:15pm

TRIAL 3 = Monday 13th Nov 5:00-6:15pm

TRIAL PROCESS

Athletes must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your trial commencing and bring a basketball, reversible singlet (light/dark) and drink bottle.
Athletes who played representative basketball for a different Association this year, please complete the online INTENT TO TRIAL FORM before attending the trials.
Cuts may be made after each trial at the discretion of the Selection Panel.
Notification of trial results will be made via email to the email address used to register.
These are closed trials - no spectators will be permitted at any of the trials.

PLEASE NOTE

Attendance at all trials is required. Absences must be notified and approved in advance by Marrickville Spirit coaching staff.
Each team will be selecting both playing players and development players. The number of development players in each age group will depend on the talent across the age group, the bottom/top age split, and available resources.
Trial fees are non-refundable.
Registrations will close 1 week prior to round 1 of trials or once we reach capacity.
Successful trialists will be offered a playing contract soon after the team announcement. Along with the representative commitments stated in our player's handbook, you will also be required to register to play in our Marrickville Spirit local competition.

Representative fees for the season will be = Player $800 | Development Player $450 (Players must also purchase a Spirit rep playing uniform, Spirit warm up top, Spirit warm up jacket and a Spirit reversible training singlet)
