REP COMMITMENT
Marrickville Spirit proudly fields both Junior and Senior representative teams in the Under 12, 14, 16, 18, and Youth League divisions, competing in the BNSW Waratah Metro League.
Representing the Spirit is both an honour and a privilege—one that carries significant responsibility. Participation in representative basketball requires a high level of commitment, dedication, and time throughout the season. Players are expected to attend regular training sessions, compete in local competitions, engage in club activities, and participate in the Waratah Metro League under Basketball NSW.
Team selection trials are held toward the end of each year in preparation for the upcoming season.
The rep journey is a challenging but rewarding experience. Here's a brief overview of what the season commitment looks like;
